Next Level Soccer Camps

The Next Level Soccer Camps are for players of all skill levels interested in competition, development, and fun. It focuses on individual skills that are incorporated within a game setting.

Prepare for training to develop the whole soccer player.  Important technical aspects of play will be introduced along with tactical components.  Field Players will receive instruction in the following areas:

Technical Instruction

  1. Trapping
  2. Dribbling
  3. Passing
  4. Hitting the Long Ball
  5. Defensive Heading
  6. Offensive Heading
  7. Block Tackles
  8. Slide Tackles
  9. Offensive Moves

Tactical Instruction

  1. Role of the 1st Attacker
  2. Role of the 1st Defender
  3. Executing 2v1 Situations
  4. Overlaps
  5. Checking Runs
  6. Bending Runs

Goalkeeper Camp will be held during both weeks.

We will provide you with all the technical and tactical knowledge to improve your game and develop the complete player.  Goalkeepers will receive instruction in the following areas:

Technical Instruction

1. Diving Saves
2. Redirecting
3. Throwing
4. Goal Kicks
5. Penalty Kicks

Tactical Instruction

1. Breakaways
2. Angles & Positioning
3. Organizing the Defense
4. Reading the Attack
5. Handling Direct & Indirect Kicks

Psychological

1. Handling Pressure
2. Refocusing After Being Scored On
3. Leadership
4. Self Training Goals
5. Motivating Your Team

General Information

In the first part of each day’s session campers will receive instruction on the essential skills of passing, receiving, dribbling, turning, etc. These skills are then developed even further in small sided games and other activities.

The later part of each day’s session is set aside for "League Games" which provides an opportunity for the players to tie in the skills they have learned as well as learn basic attacking and defensive concepts.

Daily Schedule:

  • 6:00 – 6:05 Opening
  • 6:05 – 6:35 Skills session
  • 6:45 – 7:10 Ladder Tournament
  • 7:20 – 7:55 League Games
  • 7:55 – 8:00 Closing
