CYSA Fall & Spring Registration


How do I get on a team?

Bring your player to tryouts in May.  Players selected for a team will receive an invitation via phone call from the travel team coach.  To accept the invitation please follow the registration details below.  Please note that travel players are selected for the entire 2018-2019  season and are assigned to the same team for both the fall and spring season.    

You will need to pay the registration fee for the spring session in late winter to keep your spot.  There is no additional paperwork needed in the spring, unless you did not play in the fall – then all paperwork listed below is applicable.

Note:  If you missed tryouts or would like to play on a team for the spring season please email your player’s gender and birthdate to the registrar (listed below).  They will put you in contact with the coach for that age group.

What can I expect with travel soccer?

Travel teams typically practice twice a week and then play games on the weekends.  As the name implies, teams will travel for away games to neighboring communities and counties.  Seasons have 8 regular season games (4 home and 4 away) and the team is encouraged to play in at least one tournament in each season.  

All travel teams play a fall season and spring season.  Players accepting positions on a team are generally expected to play in both the fall and spring seasons.  We appreciate that children may be involved in other activities besides soccer.  If you have a concern about the commitment please discuss it with the travel team coach.

U9-U12 play games on Saturday

U13-U14 play games on Sunday in the Fall

U15-U19 play games on Sunday 

How do I register?

If you have been asked to participate on a team please give all your registration material and payment to your travel team coach or team manager.

 Please make sure to complete the following items:

  • Click Here to Register Online
  • Print and fill out 1 copy (top portion only) of the PS1
  • Photo (headshot)
    *this can also be emailed directly to the registrar (include team and player name in email)
    *You can also login to your
    family account and upload a photo (JPG) of your player
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
    *required ONLY if new to CYSA
    *You can also login to your
    family account and upload a copy of your players birth certificate
  • Indicate desired jersey number
  • Pay registration fee of $129

Note: Logging into your Family Account requires a pin # - this can be found in the auto-email received after you registered online

*Uniforms are an additional cost.  You will get an auto-email when it is time to order your uniform if you need one

What is your refund policy?
A refund of 50% will be given before the start of the season.  Once the first game is played, no refunds will be granted.
